Before, we showed you the ‘heart and soul’ of North Carolina. Down in ACC country, they refer to that man as ‘Pyscho T’ for some reason, even though Tyler was crying because Gerald Henderson was mean to him.
Well, this is our heart and soul. He doesn’t have any nicknames that try and puff up his reputation. He doesn’t cry. And most importantly, he doesn’t take shit from anyone. And really, you could say that about anyone on Villanova. Because our players don’t feel entitled to anyone. They don’t whine to the refs. They get in your face, put a scowl on, and put a whooping on you.
But this man especially, is why we have the attitude on our team that we do. He doesn’t accept losing, and he doesn’t let anyone push him around. And that rubs off on every other player around him.
Let’s just say I’m really happy that we have #22.
If you are like me, you’ve had North Carolina on your mind most of the week. They are a great team, and their biggest strength in my opinion is their depth. They have their star players, but foul trouble is typically not an issue with them.
I’m most worried about Ty Lawson for obvious reasons, but I’ve heard several people say that Tyler Hansbrough should worry us. Well, judging from the above picture, I’m not so sure.
Pyscho T looks more like the kid crying by the swingset. Notice the strong lip quiver and the person (ref? coach? teammate?) going in for the hug.
I’ve been running around all day dealing with some family stuff and attempting to get tickets to Detroit this weekend….. so I haven’t had the opportunity to upload all the media I captured during such an extraordinary night.
I promise all you diehards out there that I’ll have some goodies up…. as soon as I can figure out how to work my BlackBerry Storm….attempted to get those up while in Boston and failed miserably…..The pics and video I got from the game and celebration were actually from the other end of the court where they cut the nets down so I’m hoping everyone will appreciate them.
Depending on what goes down in a few hours regarding the remainder of the “student” tickets (if you can even call them that) we will have some more info regarding IBBW’s plans for the school’s biggest weekend in 20+ years……here’s to hoping to a good resolution to the mess that is currently happening on campus….

I’ll have a full recap of the weekend on Monday, but for now I just got back to my parents house in Fairfield and Liz is in the process of sending me some pictures that she took from her cell phone at the games this weekend. Enjoy the pictures, and enjoy this time in general. We went back to the team hotel after the game and I’ve never seen a group of people happier. It was truly a night to remember.
