Umm, it's pretty simple to me. The games were fixed once money started getting put on Nova. the Gtown game is an excellent example of refs fixing the game.

Interesting article. I think if the fouls are called like they were in the first half of the Big East season we will have no problem.
There was an interesting stat during the game about the foul shot discrepancy.

In our three losses our opponent has gone to the free throw line 128 times vs 59 for our beloved cats. Something doesn't smell right. No wonder Jay is getting super pissed.

Nova vs Gtown
23 - 50 with Gtown out scoring us by 22
Nova vs UConn
20 - 44 with UConn out scoring us by 19
Nova vs Pitt
34 - 16 with Pitt out scoring us by 15

So I looked back through our season. Since Temple the free throw disparity has only exceeded 10 once. In general we are within 3 to 5 of our opponent. Versus Providence we shot 5 more free throws than they did. I can't imagine that our style of play has changed that much. Heck we shot 3 more free throws than Gtown on our home court (Wachovia). I can't imagine that our crashing the board style hasn't resulted in more fouls called in our favor. Anyone else wish to speculate?
