If you think that title makes no sense, you can talk to Jamie and Andrew, who have emblazoned that saying into my head for all eternity. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.

Note: I can’t decide whether to ignore the fact that Amare Stoudemire YouTube’d Dante first, or just say this was awesome revenge.

Weds nite was second straight double figure game for Dante. He posted 14 the night before when the rest of the Blazers were dreadful. His minutes have been on increase and he’s now up to averaging 12 per game, including about 24 the last two games. There has been talk of him being part of a package deal in trade (feb 18 deadline), but his recent surge may short-circuit that idea.

Where was he rumored to be heading Larry?

Pritchard, the GM, is keeping close tabs on possible trades, but he admits he must find a “big” that can keep the Blazers playoff-bound. Dante would figure to be sought after by a lot of teams that need someone with his energy, but Pritchard also says he has to think about the long-term possibilities and No. 33 would definitely have to be in his thoughts, especially with his recent fireworks. Plus that, Portland fans seem to love what he brings to the team. No matter what his minutes, he always seems to register at least one block and one steal.

The all time best face job by Dante was still the nut job he have Eric Devendorf last year up in the Dome. That dunk will remain in my memory as much as Scottie’s shot last year. It just couldn’t have happened to a better punk orangeman.

Does anyone know where Devendorf is now? Playing overseas? Jail?

Katie-

A few days ago, Devendorf signed with a professional team in New Zealand.
