Good catch. Didn’t realize that. Anyways, we’ll have to disagree on ‘Cuse. I think they’re pretty good. Wesley Johnson vs. Reggie Redding will be really, really fun to watch.

one quick thing i realized…Cuse does have one win out of the state of New York. their game against Florida was at a neutral site, but took place in the state of FLA (might’ve been Tampa, off the top of my head). either way, they aren’t battle-tested yet.

Syracuse is so overrated that even Jerry MacNamera would say so.
Cuse should be lumped in with Cincy & Seton Hall as very dangerous teams but not as a serious contender

some of my thoughts/disagreements/two cents:

i think WVU will be tougher than Cuse…we always seem to crack the code of that zone way too easily for them to really put up a fight. although WVU has has their problems at the guard position, which is out strength, they still scare the absolute crap out of me.

im happy were playing Louisville early-ish in the conference season. i feel that team will figure it out late in the season (perhaps too late).

after seeing a bit of Rutgers, playing them at the RAC will be a pretty tough challenge this year, in my opinion.

i think Seton Hall is legit. i honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they finish in the top 4. i won’t predict it, but if they can beat Cuse they might have a chance. its unfortunate for them that they have such a tough start to their conference schedule.

after seeing the other teams…i’d be pretty disappointed if we finished anything worse than 3rd in the conference this year.

Big East is nearly just as strong as last year, and is STILL the best conference in the land. cannot wait for Saturday and the next few months.
