As it says in the article, the schools haven't even been briefed yet. It is just being discussed amongst some Big East people and some coaches. There are positives and negatives on both sides in my opinion, but I just can't fathom that the upper-echelon schools want this, because those are the schools most likely to be focused on a deep NCAA run. I was at two games last year, and had thought our win over Marquette was the best win of the year (until Boston)... The regular season defines each conference every year. The Tournament anyone can win at anytime. oh and by the way, the greatest game ever played in the history of the big east (maybe all time NCAA) was a result of this past year in Syracuse vs. UConn overtime(s) thriller.
