Although not official, all signs are pointing to a deal that would send Randy Foye to the Washington Wizards.  In addition to Foye, Mike Miller would go to the Wizards, while the Minnesota Timberwolves would get Etan Thomas, Darius Songaila, Oleksiy Pecherov, and the # 5 pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.  If the deal goes through, the T-Wolves would have back-to-back lottery picks this Thursday at # 5 and # 6.

…Not to mention they have 2 more 1st round picks…talk about a major overhaul…

…Glad to see Foye moving back farther East…he won’t see as many looks playing with Gilbert Arenas (Mark’s man-crush) but it should help him develop as an NBA guard…congrats Randy…

…But as a Knicks fan, I’m not happy that the T-Wolves just one-upped us to snag the 5th pick…

Good for Randy. As someone who lived in MN for a couple of years the TWolves were/are poorly run and have made poor decision after poor decision (McCants, Foye, Garnett, etc). Hopefully he will have a chance to flourish in DC.

Curious to hear about Pena. I hope he is working hard similar to how Dante worked out during the off season. I think he can be a great player and we need his big body down low to help box out and help our other new big guys.

HOpefully he is working on his shot. One of the things that really helped Dante was moving out to that 18 – 20′ range.

I love the trade. As a wizards and nova fan I get the best of two worlds. They’re projecting Miller to start at shooting guard, but I think it would be more beneficial for Foye to team with Arenas in the backcourt, that way you get two scorers who can both distribute the ball.
