Villanova signees Mouphtaou Yarou and Isaiah Armwood  join their Montrose Christian teammates as they take on the famed Oak Hill Academy. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and will be aired by ESPN2.

…This is a good chance for us to see Yarou and Armwood since they were not selected to the McDonald’s game…the game itself should be a good one as well, and there are some other players to keep an eye on for the future, especially Terrence Ross and Justin Anderson of Montrose…

Chris,
Any thoughts on the Louisville WVU game tomorrow nite @ WVU? Who’ll win? Louisville gonna handle them or get blown out?

How about Ct/Pitt?
Marquette/’Cuse

UL @ WVU — Louisville will know whether it has a shot at the BET title by the time they play because UConn and Pitt will be playing earlier. WVU is playing for BET seeding and a 9:00 start benefits them and their fans (who will be rowdy).

I like WVU because I think UConn will beat Pitt and UL won’t have that BET title to play for.

UC @ Pitt – Revenge game for the Huskies. Thabeet won’t want to let Blair do what he did last game again. Fields is questionable for Pitt, and if he can’t go or is hobbled, Pitt is in serious trouble. Either way, AJ Price will probably have a huge day. I like the Huskies here, a lot. This game is essentially for the BET title. Pitt needs a win as well as a UL loss, but this will be a war.

‘Cuse @ Marquette – Cuse is playing for BET seeding but going up against Marquette on Senior Night and all that emotion? Yeah right. Marquette even though they are missing Dominic James will roll by 10+.

Hmmm.

Going to be interesting to see if UL presses WVU and if they do how often and how hard and how WVU handles it. Will they “kill” UL like they killed us? Huggins does a real good job prepping his team on what to expect and they can execute. I think given the venue I’ll give an edge to WVU.

Pitt/Ct, I didn’t know Fields was hurting. Indeed I just saw on one of the shows he has a bruised tailbone. He is definitely the PG who makes it go for Pitt. I think the first game was a war. The refs really let them play. It will be interesting to see if they do this time. In any case, if Fields is that hobbled, that’s a negative for them going in. If he’s not, and if the big guys Blair and Biggs can stay out of foul trouble (meaning they stay on the floor their normal time), I think Pitt wins. Even though Thabeet is 7′3″ and can block shots, I think he’s weak. Blair showed that last game. He can be pushed all over by another big guy. Going to be real interesting. I bet Calhoun does an awful lot of carping. Based on the unknowns I think this is a toss up.

‘Cuse/Marquette, you’re spot on.
